Niceties are earned with humanity. You cannot force someone to be nice to you, or condemn those who dance on the graves of their oppressor. When Queen Elizabeth passed, the Queen who oversaw so much suffering, who clung with greedy greasy paws onto Ireland and Kenya and Yemen and Malaysia and Nigeria, the Queen who protected her evil son even as she cast out a Black woman, the people she tortured in her lifetime celebrated.
