Kindness is conditional
When a great tree falls, the earth must shake
The world pays respect at gunpoint
As if to say, one clay is superior to another
And that potters have no skill.
The two rivers attest for those made from their banks and beds
Equal but for the weight of good and bad upon Reckoning
Which heretic claims God must save a Queen of Thiefs?
Who gave the Church power to usurp the Divinity of Allah?
Who demands Redemption for one who never sought it?
He gives respite in ropes to the evildoer, to entangle himself in
He unveils the Clarity in the end, so that others may take heed
He gave England the power to leave a Satanic trail across lands
He let England chop and hack at nations till they consumed themselves in fire
He gave the children of misery one day to celebrate the Inevitable Truth.
Those whose hands have wrought naught but foulness
They will be one day a source of joy for their victims
Those who protect the worst of mankind from justice
Will find no protectors in the Here or Hereafter
When the colonist must face the wrath of the colonized.
In the twilight of King Rot
Though no smoker
Though no drinker
I will puff a fat cigar
I will pop champagne
I can't wait.

INKTOBER 13: KIND/"YOU SURE CASTRO IS DEAD?"
MUSIC: God Save The Queen, Sex Pistols
VIDEO: Rang De Basanti, 2006, RO Mehra
Niceties are earned with humanity. You cannot force someone to be nice to you, or condemn those who dance on the graves of their oppressor. When Queen Elizabeth passed, the Queen who oversaw so much suffering, who clung with greedy greasy paws onto Ireland and Kenya and Yemen and Malaysia and Nigeria, the Queen who protected her evil son even as she cast out a Black woman, the people she tortured in her lifetime celebrated. To quote Bobby Sands, our revenge is in the laughter of our children - and the laughter is aimed squarely at the colonialist anachronism that is the Royal Family of the UK. She's not the only one - I have promised myself that if I live to see certain despots pass, I will indulge myself a little. May Allah forgive me in advance.
