At the end of the day, all of life's happy moments serve only as temporary distraction from its griefs, much like a painkiller for a terminally ill patient. Happiness is a facade, death and pain are constants and the worth of this world is less than the wing of a fly (not my words there). This does not mean peace is impossible - there is peace in accepting one's existence and finding meaning in it. Also, guess the artist!
