The creative process is extraordinarily difficult and emotionally exhausting. The culmination is art that may or may not resonate - but when it does, it is worth every bit of the struggle. Paradoxically, the hallmark of a good artist is an obsession with perfection and thus they must be at least a little unhappy with their final product, no matter how great it may be. In that way, creation is an act of vulnerable bravery. Not that this has anything to do with the late uploads - I had an exam and brownies to deliver.
