I am the future, standing before you
I am the searchlight in the dark

The blackened skies that I oft look up to
Whisper my name whenever it rains 

I am the keyholder to Truth itself
The surge of every erosive wave
Kings in all their pompous glory
Earn not the light coming from my grave 

I am the victor of Death and Time
I am the curve born from a line
I am change with a timer and fuse
